Reflect: Free-drumming

Reflect is a project situated within my show entitled “Free-drumming”.

 

This project uses projection-mapping on a circular screen reminiscent of a drum head. The "rim" of the drum is created using sets of marching drumsticks.

 

The images display an independent marching percussion ensemble in competition. Over time, the screen gets overtaken by a virtual percussion ensemble, introducing audio distortions and fading out the original video.
